Our grandparents once gathered under the century-old chestnut trees, and we want to ensure that future generations can do the same. Preserving nature and creating a welcoming space doesn’t happen on its own – it takes action. That’s why, together with partners who share our commitment, we’re introducing innovative solutions that conserve nature, water, energy, and even money. We hope to inspire not only other venues but also our guests to embrace sustainability as an enjoyable and rewarding choice.
Our inspiration comes from Copenhagen – a global leader in sustainability. While we may not be there yet, we’re on our way. And we’re grateful for the support of public institutions such as the City of Prague, Prague 2, and the Ministry of Regional Development, who share our vision.
For us, sustainability is more than just protecting nature. It’s about living better – in health, relationships, and the way we manage resources. We’ve already made our choice, and the first phase of our journey begins now.

Water
Rainwater harvesting – collected in retention tanks and used for tree irrigation.
Water-saving toilets – waterless urinals, low-flush systems, aerators, and eco-friendly fresheners.
Reusing cooling water from beer taps – instead of wasting it, we use it to water our green walls.
Nature
Our trees are our partners – we care for their health and preserve biodiversity.
Green walls – not just visually stunning, but they also cool the space and improve air quality.
Insect hotels – because every ecosystem needs its small but mighty helpers.
Energy Efficiency
Smarter cooling – our state-of-the-art system for kegs, tanks, and taps saves up to 50% energy.
Waste Management
Less paper – we use hand dryers instead of paper towels, digital information boards, and encourage reusable coffee cups.
Smarter plastic – reusable cups, 100% recycled R-PET cups, and efficient waste sorting.
Bio-waste recycling – leftover food goes to local farms in exchange for fresh eggs.
Noise & Comfort
Concerts end by 9 PM – out of respect for our neighbors.
Smart sound system – instead of one loudspeaker cluster, we have 20 strategically placed speakers, ensuring a balanced sound experience without excessive noise levels.
Better Guest Experience
Charging stations for phones and e-bikes.
Water stations for dogs – because our four-legged friends deserve refreshment too.

What is Sustainia?
Sustainia is a global initiative that has been identifying and supporting top sustainable innovations since 2007. Founded in Copenhagen, Sustainia is built on the belief that sustainability must be clear, practical, and easy to implement.
The main ambassador of the project this year is Rasmus Schjødt Larsen, CEO of Sustainia – an expert in strategy and leadership, who bridges the worlds of technology, sustainability, and business. His goal is to bring fresh ideas to Prague and inspire companies and individuals to embrace responsible entrepreneurship.
